My TV Writing Team and I recently got a chance to consult with producer Diane Nabatoff (Narc, Very Bad Things, Gray Matters, among others), and we really appreciated her emphasis on the need for developing great characters. After all, they're what bring viewers back and back and back.
While I’m new to the medium of scriptwriting, I’m not new to her wisdom. Every day I use the strategies I talk about in GROWING GREAT CHARACTERS. One of the most profound notions is to continue rewriting until the viewer/reader sees your character as you do.
