BLISS ROAD, June 6, preorder now
I’m still in Morocco. Sad to say, our itinerary won’t allow for any surfing. But the waves are supposed to be fantastic!
I can’t believe it’s been seven years since I picked up surfing in a big way. I’m not particularly good, but I have a lot of fun, love my surf friends and am regularly awed by the beauty and power of the ocean.
That and for me, surfing is the ultimate metaphor for life: just as you think you have your footing, the water shifts beneath you, requiring you to zig, zag, fall off and get back on the board.
What’s your favorite metaphor for life?
