BLISS ROAD available on preorder
This is my mom, Norma, who taught me how to sew, repapered my room with bright yellow flowers and planned all of our two-week family summer road trips.
She was like most moms, including me: wanting everything for our kids, doing the best we can, and occasionally making mistakes, some of them small and some of them big.
She used to say, “You wait until YOU have kids. Then you’ll understand.”
And she was right about that!
Not surprisingly, she plays a big role in my memoir, BLISS ROAD. Like most moms, including me, she deserves a truckload of respect, love and understanding.
Rock on moms everywhere, past and present, even when things don’t go quite according to plan.
What did your mom do really well?
