Happy birthday to my oldest sister, Dee (middle)! I say “oldest,” but there’s only 3 years difference between us, with my sister, Sue (left), in between. All of us were born close enough together to form a little bear cub pack that roamed together, sometimes swiping at one another, but mostly having one another’s backs.
I talk about their importance to me in BLISS ROAD, and how, due to their location in the same town as my dad, who we believe was undiagnosed autistic, were fortunate to finally build a rapport with him in his last few years.
Go good for our family finding and driving down that Happy Lane!
(The photo was from 10 years ago when we celebrated my birthday in Chicago, our hometown.)
