REVIEW
Author Martha Engber has crafted an immersive experience in a world of tribal conflict and powerful characters, taking readers on the dual journeys of Pino and Meesha, portraying their growth, resilience, and the unexpected bond that forms between them.
One of the features which impressed me the most was the use of atmospheric and multisensory language to bring the historical period to life; for example, in the vivid descriptions of the landscape and culture that enriched the narrative, transporting readers to a time of fierce struggle and essential human connection. The novel beautifully explores themes of redemption, sisterhood, and the complexities of personal battles. Overall, The Falcon, the Wolf, and the Hummingbir
d is a must-read for those who enjoy strong female protagonists and richly layered narratives with plenty of atmosphere and drama.
